As most of you know, before Michael Jordan signed with Nike he wore Converse throughout his college career. He even opted to wear the Converse Fastbreak Mid during the 1984 Olympics, which is a major reason why this model is in the pack. After being drafted by the Chicago Bulls, Jordan participated in the Carolina Pro Alumni basketball game for charity wearing a UNC-themed Air Jordan 2 PE. Both comes in predominantly White leather uppers. The Jordan 2 utilizes Carolina Blue on the heel, while the Fastbreak uses it on the branding and lining. The Air Jordan x Converse The 2 That Started It All Pack will release on June 28th for the retail price of $300.Make sure to visit our Air Jordan x Converse Pack hub page for the latest info, images and updates regarding this pack.

In the 1986 game, he wore the Chicago home colorway of the Air Jordan 2 that featured a never-before-seen detail Carolina Blue on the heel. In the 1987 game, he opted for a low version of the Jordan 2 in his alma mater s team colors. Now, the Air Jordan 2 returns to honor both games by combining the original 1986 PE II with the 1987 game date.MJ s refusal to skip the 1984 games is another classic example of his Love of the Game. Having just been drafted, it was arguably in his best interest to decline, but instead he helped lead the USA men s basketball team to a gold medal. During the games, he wore his favorite Converse model, the Fastbreak. To honor his memorable performances in Converse sneakers at the University of North Carolina (including a national title) and in the 1984 Olympics, the Fastbreak returns in Carolina Blue. Now that you know why these two models were chosen to make up the Air Jordan x Converse The 2 That Started It All Pack, are you looking to pick up the pack?
